National Police Attache at the Indonesian Embassy in Manila, Escorting Hundreds of Indonesian Citizens Returning from the Philippines

 Postnewstime l Manila - Indonesian Police Attache at the Indonesian Embassy in Manila, Indonesian Police Commissioner Agus Setiyoko jumped in to help the Embassy Team supervise and monitor the repatriation of 200 Indonesian Citizens from Manila to Jakarta at Manila Airport, Philippines, Thursday (07/09/20) yesterday.

 The Indonesian citizen returned home with a Garuda chartered plane (GA-9810) at 19.30 local time and is expected to arrive tonight at 22.25 WIB, at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten.


 On the sidelines of the activity, Kombes Pol Agus Setiyoko, said the repatriation of hundreds of Indonesian citizens was a continuation of the repatriation of ABK assisted by the Indonesian Embassy in Manila.

 "The embassy team accompanied ABK to the airport and made sure
 all the crew members have taken the COVID-19 PCR test and the results are negative, "said the 1995 Akpol Alumni in a written statement received by this media reporter, Friday (07/10/20).

 The former Ketapang Police Chief added that 200 Indonesian citizens came from 4 cruise ships, namely Costa Atlantica, Costa NeoRomantica, Costa Serena, and Costa Venezia.

 "This Indonesian citizen repatriation is the result of coordination between the Indonesian Embassy in Manila and the Costa Crocieri S.p.A Company in Shanghai and is fully funded by the company," said Agus Setiyoko. (by/red)
